First and foremost we want to extent our appreciation to Dr. Robert Koch who in his discovery he was able to identify the bacterium associated or responsible for the Tuberculosis (TB). And also all health contributors in mitigating Tuberculosis today, The Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia National Public Health Institute of Liberia-NPHIL and World Health Organization (WHO) in strategizing series of control and prevention and treatment measures in ensuring the health of all.

Global statistically in 2023, according to World Health Organization approximately 10.6 million people develop TB in 2022.

Our loving people TB is very contagious, and can be spread from an active carrier or person to person by Air. Wherein the person sneezes, cough or talk.
Furthermore other infectious diseases might have same signs or symptoms of TB including: coughing, sneezing, weight loos, sweating in the night, fever, chills and fatigue so it is always advisable we do regular check up for earlier diagnosis.

The Healthy Living is adding their voice to the many voices in eradicating or minimizing TB cases in and out of Liberia.
