The most dangerous place for a leader to be is at the top of a pedestal they built themselves. We often feel pressured to have every answer, to be the smartest person in the room, and to never show a flicker of doubt. But leadership isn’t about being "right"; it’s about being teachable.

True growth begins the moment you admit you don’t know everything. When you approach your team with a spirit of curiosity rather than authority, you foster an environment of psychological safety and innovation. Compassion starts with yourself—acknowledging your limitations allows you to value the diverse expertise of those around you.

Remember:

- Arrogance builds walls.

- Humility builds bridges.

Stay hungry for knowledge, stay open to correction, and never let your title outpace your willingness to learn. The best leaders aren't just great teachers; they are the most devoted students.

P.S. - No leader will have all the answers, but you do need to provide the right resources. When a leader gifts their team a roadmap for development, they aren't just giving a book—they are giving permission to grow, to fail, and to innovate.
