🔥 Fire Safety Is Not an Option — It’s a Responsibility 🔥

On 22nd January, I had the privilege of conducting a comprehensive Fire Safety Awareness & Emergency Response Training at TBS International (Private) Limited, Wanaluwawa, Dompe.

This program was carefully designed to go beyond classroom theory and focus on real-world preparedness, ensuring that staff are confident, disciplined, and capable of responding effectively until emergency services arrive.

🔹 Training scope included:
✔️ Fire safety theory & risk awareness
✔️ Squad drill to build discipline and coordinated response
✔️ Rescue techniques for handling casualties during emergencies
✔️ Live fire demonstrations with hands-on experience using all types of fire extinguishers
✔️ Correct operation of fire hoses and hydrant systems
✔️ Full-scale evacuation mock drill, emphasizing accountability through proper roll-call procedures
The commitment, enthusiasm, and teamwork demonstrated by the participants were truly commendable. Practical exposure like this transforms awareness into action, and action saves lives.
