The Architecture MasterPrize is a prestigious global award celebrating excellence and innovation in architecture and interior architecture. This recognition marks DesignOne’s fourth international award by AMP, following earlier honours in 2023 and 2024, and reflects our continued commitment to creating thoughtful, human-centred environments with global relevance.

The JXG Headquarters at Mireka Tower was designed as a living interior ecosystem—where light, materiality, and spatial experience come together to inspire creativity, connection, and well-being in everyday work life.

🇱🇰 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗡 - 𝗔 𝗢𝗻𝗲-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝗖𝗦𝗥 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲

Sri Lanka is rebuilding after the recent floods, and many communities need practical, immediate design support—from schools and community spaces to small bridges, access points, and local business infrastructure.

This December, DesignOne is relaunching “𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗜𝗡”, a one-day workshop where architects, engineers, planners, environmental specialists, QS professionals, and contractors volunteer their expertise to deliver 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲-𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼-𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱-𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀.

📅 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝟮𝟯 𝗗𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱
This is a continuation of the community-focused work we’ve championed for years, including past workshops that supported Habitat for Humanity, World Vision, and Solidaridad, as well as our ongoing CSR collaboration with the Sri Lanka Railway Department to elevate a Pekoe Trail train station into a community and eco-tourism node.

𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

We are inviting NGOs, local groups, and community organisations to submit small, high-impact projects that would benefit from architectural guidance.

Examples include:
• Repairing or improving community facilities
• Classrooms or care spaces
• Small bridges or access connections
• Flood-resilient home support
• Public-use micro-infrastructure
• Urban Design, Drainage or resilience interventions
• Tourism-linked facilities that support local business recovery
