Location - Point Pedro JaffnaArchitecture is indeed a social craft. Looking at these lines architecture is more about a representation of the time which looks towards the future with an understanding of the past. In this design, we investigated the notion of representing the idea of the culture that generated the city of Point Pedro as a city of harbor and shipping vessels. In this design, we try to replicate the architecture of the harbor and its context which has a cultural value and little or no influence on the general architecture of the context. Thus, it is important to experiment with how we can influence these symbiotic cultural identities as a design proposition.
In such line, we try to create an architecture synergy that incorporates martial, technology, and built form to create this architectural entity. In such a way the design position itself to create a grand building that stands itself in the context as a monument to its cultural identity.
