This is an all-online hybrid course with 24 hours of training over 4 weeks featuring:
- Live online workshops โ Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Pre-recorded content
- Practical mandatory weekly role-play simulations throughout the training
You can complete the training if you wish, but if you want to become a certified QPR responder and receive the JH certification, youโll need to:

Box Breathing (4-Square Breathing)
Feeling overwhelmed, tense, or mentally scattered?
Box breathing is a simple, evidence-based breathing technique that helps calm the nervous system and bring the body back into balance.
- Inhale for 4 seconds
- Hold for 4 seconds
- Exhale for 4 seconds
- Hold for 4 seconds
Repeat for 3โ5 rounds.
This practice is widely used to reduce stress, improve focus, and support emotional regulation by slowing down the breath and signaling safety to the nervous system.
