One of my most favourite wedding cakes I have done.. ❤️

The bottom tier was a lemon blueberry cake with a blueberry compote filling. The top tier was a lemon cake with a lemon curd filling. Covered and decorated using Italian Meringue Buttercream. It's safe to say that it's as interesting on the inside as it looks on the outside.

When it comes to themes like this where you have to work with fondant, I always tell my customers that its better to have buttercream on the cake than having fondant, coz honestly in my opinion fondant is not very tasty. So I always suggest them to have fondant toppers on a buttercream cake.
