Royal Trinity Tap Rugby 7's

project organized along with another institution outside Colombo. Tap rugby 7’s being a club service project has not only given the opportunity for many young Interactors to showcase their talents but also Interact and bond with many other fellow Interactors. The uniqueness of this event has always succeeded in attracting crowds and much interest among all. Thus the Interact Club of Royal College is proud to unveil yet another phase of this unique project this December. How it all began
The sportsmanship between Interactors is something which one is unfortunately not given a chance to see. But that is not because of the lack of sportsmanship in Interactors. That is not the case. The lack of a platform for them to show it is the problem we have identified. And so Royal-Trinity Tap Rugby 7’s was initiated. Our Vision throughout this project
Sports have always been a key element bringing out a unique form of rivalry amongst us, one like no other that brings people together. Two teams may battle it out in the field with no love lost between them but simply increasing the friendship and bonding between them. Such games have over the years strengthened the relationships between many institutions, creating ties that last for decades and it is this that we believe is necessary to be spread amongst the many others who have not had the opportunity of engaging in sports. Concentrated on not just Interactors in the vicinity of Colombo but also in Kandy, the committee hopes to not only show that Interactors are brilliant organizers and so forth but also bring out and help build this relationship among Interactors helping them to be and work as one. Many a time have we seen platforms on which Interactors have been allowed to display their talent and skills; but to create an event at which people will come to see and marvel at the talents and also the sportsmanship of Interactors to the extent of being rivals on field on one day and the next day to meet up and sit together and discuss how to help the underprivileged in our society is what we as a committee envision. And this proud vision we will achieve.
