Meet the Team – Java Lane Sports Club

Founded in 1925, Java Lane FC is one of the oldest and most historic football clubs in Sri Lanka. Known for their fearless style and unpredictability on the pitch, Java Lane has always been a strong contender in every competition.

Despite winning many major trophies over the decades, the League title and FA Cup have remained just out of reach. In 2023, the “Reds” came agonizingly close — finishing runners-up with 28 points, losing only one match and drawing four.

It was one of the best seasons ever for the Slave Islanders, and fans are eagerly waiting to see — where will they finish this year? 🔥⚽
