In order to improve the operations and to further develop TechCERT, it was incorporated as an independent Limited by Guarantee Company, affiliated with LK Domain Registry, on 05th September 2016. TechCERT is Sri Lanka’s first and largest Computer Emergency Readiness Team (CERT) and its clientele includes most of the leading banks, financial institutions, telecommunication and Internet service providers, insurance companies, manufacturing companies, and professional institutions in the country. TechCERT, as the leader in providing Managed Security Services, works with its members/ customers to develop and implement customized and fully integrated IT security technologies and services across the enterprise IT infrastructure. TechCERT has collaborative partnerships with several national and global information security organizations that provide the latest data on computer and network security threats and vulnerabilities. Main among these collaborators are Asia Pacific Computer Emergency Response Team (APCERT), Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), Anti Phishing Working Group (APWG) and Team Cymru Internet security research team.
