Sri Lanka’s rubber industry is kept moving by latex collectors and smallholders across rural communities. We wanted to make it easier for them by digitising parts of the process.
This is what led Dipped Products PLC to introduce ‘DPL EasyPay’ - a digital platform designed to simplify latex procurement at the grassroots, while supporting over 4,500 suppliers and more than 40 smallholder agents (SHAs) across Sri Lanka. This system also enables near-instant payments to latex suppliers across the country, improving speed and transparency in the collection process.
‘DPL EasyPay’ has been shortlisted for the Amazon Business Digital Impact Award at the World Procurement Awards 2026.
This initiative was developed in collaboration with our technology partner, Agrithmics.
