Studiolusion
We've got a bit of an existential crisis. We're a group of artists trying to find ourselves, and people like us with dreams that challenge and disrupt "the box". Studiolusion is a space where you can workshop your ideas, whether they be for a play, a film, a song, a dance, or an artistic vision you want to see realised, get some friendly feedback, and develop further to your satisfaction. Watch this space for our upcoming performances, and don't hesitate to get in touch with ideas of your own.

Excited to share a new initiative:
Re-Connect, An Acting Workout
Designed for Adults who want to reconnect with the roots of storytelling, engage in creative collaboration, and gain confidence in physical self-expression in a relaxed, supportive environment. You donโt need to be an actor to join, but if youโre a former theatre kid looking to exercise those muscles without the pressure of putting on a show, this space is for you.
Sessions focus on ensemble storytelling, improvisation, and character-based exercises that build presence, focus, responsiveness, and imagination. The goal is consistent practice, using storytelling as a way to connect more deeply with the work, the group, and yourself.
Happening biweekly, starting
-Thursday 7th May, 2026
-Lakmahal Community Library
Open to Adults (21+)
Limited availability!
Hit the link in bio to register your interest.
Note: This is not formal actor training. The space prioritizes play, respect, connection, and growing through practice...

Had a good ol' LARP, bringing the story of 'Raavana's Daughter' to life for the GLF 2024 Children's Programme.
Nadishka Aloysius' richly detailed telling of how Hanuman and the Vanara came to cross the Palk Strait, lends plenty of stimulus to the theatrical imagination. Engaging with her Characters' world and exploring their journey towards peaceful resolution with our impromptu army of 'Ape warriors' and 'Mer-people' was a fun, collaborative experience, which left us with as much to think about as the kids, probably.
Our LARP culminated in a lively discussion with the Author, delving into the complexity of world building, character portrayal, teamwork in performance and storytelling, and real world parallels to 'Raavana's Daughter', all within the comfortable shady realm of the Mer-country ๐๐ง
A Saturday Afternoon well spent. Thank you for having us GLF ๐
