Teaching kids about money, financial attitudes, and financial behavior helps them become responsible consumers—consumers who can make informed, rational decisions. The Mani Talks Junior Workshop, conducted under the Singer Finance Muthu Piyawa initiative, was recently held in the Horana district. Both kids and parents actively participated in the game-based learning sessions. Kudos to the Singer Finance team for spearheading this novel concept across the country!

LOLC Finance strengthen our partnership for another year to explore the personal financial wellbeing choice with their cross functional teams. Engaging with a team that lives and breathes finance every day was both inspiring and humbling.

Our discussion wasn’t about teaching the basics—they already excel at that. Instead, we explored how financial attitudes complement technical knowledge, especially as we approach year-end. Bonuses, incentives, and inflows are opportunities, but the mindset behind managing them determines whether they become stepping stones or missed chances. As we close the year, let’s focus on clarity, discipline, and purpose in our financial choices.
