All right, Mates! You’ve been asking for a true Sea Scout summer camp… and it’s finally happening!

The Gulf Stream Council is proud to announce its first-ever Sea Scout–specific Summer Camp, held July 5–11, 2026 at the incredible Camp Tana Keeta, near Jupiter, Florida.

This isn’t a boot camp—it’s a full week of hands-on adventure. From Reveille to Taps, you’ll be learning, practicing, and having fun while advancing toward your next rank. Yes, it’ll be in the summer—but with new skills, new friends, and a little pride in surviving, you’ll come away stronger than ever.

What to expect:

Aquatics Galore: A massive pool with room for three activities at once! Earn your Swimming MB, work on Life Saving for Quartermaster, or sharpen your strokes.

On the Water: Take the helm of a Sunfish sailboat, kayak across the lake, or even prep for your boating license. Learn outboard motor basics and keep those engines humming.

Advancement & Skills: Seamanship, Navigation, knots, and more—all taught by top-notch Sea Scout leaders who have “been there, done that.”

Adult Leader Training: Plenty of opportunities for leaders to gain skills, connect, and earn Trained Leader status.

This camp will be staffed by the best of the best—experienced Sea Scout leaders committed to helping you succeed.
