Connecting and getting connected to candidates- Once you post a new job you can go to search talent section from the top menu. Use the filters on the left panel and narrow down the candidates to a few and check their profiles. If the profile matches the job requirements you can simply click on connect and select the job you’re connecting with him for. Tip: check the endorsements and reviews to find the best candidates from the list. Similarly, the candidates also can view your job post and if they feel if it’s the right job for them, they will send a connection request to you.

Pending Approval- this is where you’ll see all the candidates who has sent connection requests and the candidates who you have sent connection requests. If a candidate has sent you a connection request, you’ll be notified in the notification list and a number will pop up next to pending approval. If you feel they fit the requirements you can simply click on approve. This will then be counted as one connect and will be moved to connected applicants. If they don’t fit the job requirements you can simply click on reject. If you have sent a connection request, it will show under pending approval until it’s approved. If you accidentally sent a connection request then you can delete it before it is approved or rejected by the candidate. If the candidate approves your connection request for the job it will be counted as one connect moved from here to connected applicants section. If they reject the connection request it will be removed from here

Connected Applicants- this section will show all the candidates you have sent connection requests and they have approved and the connection requests sent to you by the candidate and you had approved. Once both parties are connected then you’ll be able to see the contact information, references and the picture of the candidates. You can also do a background check of the candidate by clicking the candidate’s profile and clicking on the send email next to the references. You can check the availability of the references and give them a call to do a background check.
