Puhulpola Reservoir of Uma Oya Multi-purpose project was commissioned on 30th October 2019 by H.E Maithripala Sirisena President of Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. CECB is proud to be associated with this project as the agency which proposed the original idea way back in 1989 of diverting waters of Uma Oya to South East Dry Zone (SEDZ) of Sri Lanka to meet the acute water shortages in the zone.

Headquarters of Sri Lanka Army within the Defence Complex at Akukegoda,Pelawatte was ceramonially declared open by H.E Maithripala Sirisena, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on 08th November 2019.

CECB is proud to be part of this landmark project, where we provided Consultancy services for the entire project together with Muditha Jayakody Associates performing the services of Principal Architect.

Role of Architect too was entrusted to CECB in October 2016 and most of the finishing works of the project were carried out under the supervision of the team of Architects of CECB.

CECB together with CESL is participating in Techno 2019- National Engineering & Technology Exhibition. Oct 11-13 2019.
