ජනාධිපති පරිසර සම්මාන ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය 2025 ජනපති ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන්

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ පාරිසරික සුරක්ෂිතභාවය සහතික කරලීමේ අරමුණ ඇතිව සංවිධානය කෙරෙන ‘ජනාධිපති පරිසර සම්මාන ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය 2025’ ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් (23) පෙරවරුවේ කොළඹ බණ්ඩාරනායක අනුස්මරණ ජාත්‍යන්තර සම්මන්ත්‍රණ ශාලාවේදී පැවැත්විණි.

පරිසර සංරක්ෂණයට විශිෂ්ට දායකත්වයක් ලබා දුන් කර්මාන්ත, රාජ්‍ය සහ පුද්ගලික ආයතන, රාජ්‍ය නොවන සංවිධාන, මාධ්‍ය ආයතන, පරිසර සංරක්ෂණය සඳහා කැප වී ඇති පාසල් සහ ප්‍රජා සහභාගිත්වය අගයමින් රට තුළ පරිසර හිතකාමී කර්මාන්ත, ව්‍යාපාර සහ සේවා සංස්කෘතියක් ගොඩනැංවීම සහ පරිසර හිතකාමීව කටයුතු කිරීම සඳහා සමාජය දිරි ගැන්වීමත්, තිරසාර සංවර්ධනයට මහජනතාවගේ සහභාගීත්වය වර්ධනය කිරීමත් අරමුණු කර ගනිමින් මධ්‍යම පරිසර අධිකාරිය විසින් ජනාධිපති පරිසර සම්මාන ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය වාර්ෂිකව සංවිධානය කරනු ලැබේ.

මෙවර ජනාධිපති පරිසර සම්මාන වැඩසටහන ‘දැකුම්කලු දිවයිනක් - සොම්නසින් පිරි ජනතාවක්’ යන දැක්ම පෙරදැරිව ක්‍රියාත්මක ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා වැඩසටහන සමඟ අත්වැල් බැඳ ගනිමින් සංවිධානය කිරීම විශේෂත්වයක් වන අතර, එහිදී ‘පරිසර හිතකාමී කර්මාන්ත අංශය’ ‘පරිසර හිතකාමී රාජ්‍ය ආයතන අංශය’ ‘පරිසර හිතකාමී පෞද්ගලික අංශය’ ‘පරිසර හිතකාමී පාසල් අංශය’ ‘පුනර්ජනනීය බලශක්ති උත්පාදන ව්‍යාපෘති අංශය’ ‘පරිසර හිතකාමී නව නිර්මාණ අංශය’ ‘පරිසර සංරක්ෂණය සඳහා කටයුතු කරන රාජ්‍ය නොවන පරිසර සංවිධාන අංශය’ ‘ජනමාධ්‍ය අංශය’ ‘සමාජ මාධ්‍ය අංශය’ යන අංශ 09 යටතේ රන් සම්මාන 17ක්, රිදී සම්මාන 29ක්, ලෝකඩ සම්මාන 38ක්, කුසලතා සම්මාන 47ක් සහ ජූරියේ විශේෂ සම්මාන 01ක් ලෙස සම්මාන 132ක් පිළිගැන්විණි.

ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා රන් සම්මාන ප්‍රදානය කිරීමට එක් වූ අතර මධ්‍යම පරිසර අධිකාරියේ සභාපති මහාචාර්ය තිලක් හේවාවසම්, අධ්‍යක්ෂ ජනරාල් කපිල මහේෂ් රාජපක්ෂ යන මහත්වරු විසින් ජනාධිපතිවරයා වෙත පරිසර හිතකාමී අයුරින් නිර්මාණය කළ විශේෂ සිහිවටන තිළිණයක් පිළිගන්වන ලදී.

සම්මාන ප්‍රදානයෙන් අනතුරුව ජනාධිපතිවරයා සම්මානලාභීන් සමඟ සමූහ ඡායාරූපයකටද එක් විය.

ජනාධිපති පරිසර සම්මාන ප්‍රදානෝත්සවය ඇමතූ පරිසර අමාත්‍ය වෛද්‍ය දම්මික පටබැදි මහතා සඳහන් කළේ රජය, කර්මාන්ත සහ ජනතාව එක්ව පොදු අරමුණක් වෙනුවෙන් වෙහෙසෙන කල, ජයග්‍රහණය කළ නොහැකි දෙයක් නොවන බවයි. රජය, කර්මාන්ත සහ ජනතාවගේ එකමුතුව ශක්තිමත් කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් අවශ්‍ය පර්යේෂණ සහාය, දිරිමත් කිරීම් සහ තාක්ෂණික මඟපෙන්වීම ලබා දීමට පරිසර අමාත්‍යාංශය කැප වී සිටින බවද අමාත්‍යවරයා පැවසීය.

පරිසරය සුරැකීම එක් ආයතනයකට හෝ අමාත්‍යාංශයකට පමණක් පැවරෙන කාර්යභාරයක් නොවන බවත්, එය සාමුහික සහ ජාතික ප්‍රයත්නයක් බවත් වැඩිදුරටත් පෙන්වා දුන් අමාත්‍යවරයා, ජනාධිපති පරිසර සම්මාන උලෙළ හුදු ජයග්‍රහණය සැමරීමේ අවස්ථාවක් පමණක් නොව හරිත, පිරිසිදු සහ වඩාත් තිරසර රටක් ලෙස ඉදිරියට යාමේ අවස්ථාවක් කර ගනිමු යැයිද සියලු දෙනාගෙන් ඉල්ලා සිටියේය.

කර්මාන්ත සහ ව්‍යවසායකත්ව සංවර්ධන අමාත්‍ය සුනිල් හඳුන්නෙත්ති, පරිසර අමාත්‍යාංශයේ ලේකම් කේ.ආර්. උඩුවාවල යන මහත්වරුද මෙහිදී අදහස් දැක් වූ අතර, පරිසර නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ඇන්ටන් ජයකොඩි මහතා සහ පරිසර අමාත්‍යාංශයේ සහ මධ්‍යම පරිසර අධිකාරියේ ජ්‍යෙෂ්ඨ නිලධාරිහු, සම්මානලාභීන් ඇතුළු පිරිසක් මෙම අවස්ථාවට එක්ව සිටියහ.

இலங்கையில் சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பை உறுதி செய்யும் நோக்கில் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்ட ‘2025 ஜனாதிபதி சுற்றாடல் விருது வழங்கல்’ நிகழ்வு (23-10-2025) கொழும்பு பண்டாரநாயக்க ஞாபகார்த்த சர்வதேச மாநாட்டு மண்டபத்தில் ஜனாதிபதி அநுர குமார திசாநாயக்கவின் தலைமையில் நடைபெற்றது.

சுற்றுச் சூழல் பாதுகாப்பிற்கு சிறந்த பங்களிப்பு வழங்கிய கைத்தொழில்கள், அரச மற்றும் தனியார் நிறுவனங்கள், அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவனங்கள், ஊடக நிறுவனங்கள், சுற்றுச் சூழல் பாதுகாப்பிற்காக அர்ப்பணிப்புடன் செயற்படும் பாடசாலைகள் மற்றும் சமூகப் பங்களிப்பை வரவேற்கும் வகையில் நாட்டில் சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த கைத்தொழில்கள், வர்த்தகங்கள் மற்றும் சேவைக் கலாசாரத்தை கட்டியெழுப்புதல் மற்றும் சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த முறையில் செயல்படுவதற்காக சமூகத்தை ஊக்குவித்தல் மற்றும் நிலைபேறான அபிவிருத்திக்கு பொதுமக்களின் ஒத்துழைப்பை மேம்படுத்துதல் ஆகிய நோக்கத்தில் மத்திய சுற்றாடல் அதிகார சபையால் ஜனாதிபதி சுற்றாடல் விருது வழங்கல் நிகழ்வு ஆண்டுதோறும் ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்படுகிறது.

இந்த ஆண்டு ஜனாதிபதி சுற்றாடல் விருது வழங்கல் நிகழ்வு , ' அழகான நாடு - புன்னகைக்கும் மக்கள்' என்ற நோக்குடன் செயல்படுத்தப்படும் கிளீன் ஸ்ரீலங்கா திட்டத்துடன் இணைந்ததாக ஏற்பாடு செய்யப்பட்டிருப்பது விசேட அம்சமாகும். 'சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த கைத்தொழில் பிரிவு', 'சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த அரச நிறுவன பிரிவு', 'சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த தனியார் துறை பிரிவு ', 'சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த பாடசாலைகள்', 'புதுப்பிக்கத்தக்க எரிசக்தி உற்பத்தி திட்ட பிரிவு', 'சுற்றுச்சூழலுக்கு உகந்த புத்தாக்கப் பிரிவு', 'சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்புக்காக செயல்படும் அரச சார்பற்ற நிறுவன பிரிவு', 'ஊடக பிரிவு' மற்றும் 'சமூக ஊடக பிரிவு ' ஆகிய 9 பிரிவுகளின் கீழ் மொத்தம் 132 விருதுகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.

ஜனாதிபதி அநுர குமார திசாநாயக்க தங்க விருதுகளை வழங்கி வைத்தார். அதே நேரத்தில் மத்திய சுற்றாடல் அதிகார சபையின் தலைவர் பேராசிரியர் திலக் ஹேவாவசம் மற்றும் பணிப்பாளர் நாயகம் கபில மகேஷ் ராஜபக்ஷ ஆகியோர் சுற்றுச்சூழல் நட்பு நினைவுப் பரிசொன்றை ஜனாதிபதிக்கு வழங்கினர்.

விருது வழங்கும் விழாவைத் தொடர்ந்து , விருது பெற்றவர்களுடன் குழு புகைப்படத்திலும் ஜனாதிபதி இணைந்து கொண்டார்.

ஜனாதிபதி சுற்றாடல் விருது வழங்கும் விழாவில் உரையாற்றிய சுற்றாடல் அமைச்சர் கலாநிதி தம்மிக படபெந்தி, கைத்தொழில்கள் மற்றும் பொதுமக்களுடன் இணைந்து அரசாங்கம் ஒரு பொதுவான குறிக்கோளுக்காக பாடுபடும் பட்சத்தில் வெற்றிகொள்ள முடியாத எதுவும் கிடையாது என்று கூறினார்.கைத்தொழில் மற்றும் மக்களின் ஒற்றுமையை வலுப்படுத்த தேவையான ஆய்வு ஆதரவு, ஊக்கம் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப வழிகாட்டுதலை வழங்க சுற்றாடல் அமைச்சு உறுதிபூண்டுள்ளது என்றும் அமைச்சர் தெரிவித்தார்.

சுற்றுச்சூழலைப் பாதுகாப்பது என்பது ஒரு நிறுவனம் அல்லது அமைச்சின் பொறுப்பு அல்ல, மாறாக அது ஒரு கூட்டு மற்றும் தேசிய முயற்சி என்று அமைச்சர் மேலும் சுட்டிக்காட்டினார்.ஜனாதிபதி சுற்றாடல் விருது வழங்கும் விழா வெறுமனே வெற்றியைக் கொண்டாடுவதற்கான சந்தர்ப்பம் மட்டுமல்லாமல், பசுமையான, தூய்மையான மற்றும் நிலைபேறான நாடாக முன்னேறுவதற்கான ஒரு வாய்ப்பாகவும் மாற்றிக் கொள்ள அனைவரையும் கோரினார்.

கைத்தொழில் மற்றும் தொழில் முயற்சியாண்மை அபிவிருத்தி அமைச்சர், சுற்றாடல் அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் கே.ஆர். உடுவாவல ஆகியோரும் நிகழ்வில் உரையாற்றினர். சுற்றாடல் பிரதி அமைச்சர் அன்டன் ஜயக்கொடி மற்றும் சுற்றாடல் அமைச்சு மற்றும் மத்திய சுற்றாடல் அதிகார சபை என்பவற்றின் சிரேஸ்ட அதிகாரிகள், விருது பெற்றவர்கள் மற்றும் பலர் நிகழ்வில் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.

Presidential Environment Awards - 2025 Held under President’s Patronage

The Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony 2025, organised with the aim of ensuring environmental sustainability in Sri Lanka, was held morning (23-10-2025) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

The Central Environmental Authority annually organises the Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony with the objectives of recognising industries, government and private institutions, non-governmental organisations, media institutions, schools dedicated to environmental protection and community participation that have made an outstanding contribution to environmental conservation. The programme also aims to promote a culture of environmentally friendly industries, businesses and services in the country, to encourage society towards environmental stewardship and to enhance public participation in sustainable development.

This year’s Presidential Environment Awards Programme was held in collaboration with the Clean Sri Lanka Programme, conducted under the theme “A Beautiful Island – A Contented People”, marking a special feature of the event.

A total of 132 awards were presented under nine categories; Environmentally Friendly Industrial Sector, Government Institutions Sector, Private Sector, School Sector, Renewable Energy Production Projects Sector, Innovative Eco-Friendly Creations Sector, Environmental Non-Governmental Organisations Sector, Media Sector and Social Media Sector, including 17 Gold Awards, 29 Silver Awards, 38 Bronze Awards, 47 Merit Awards and one Special Jury Award.

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake presented the Gold Awards at the ceremony. A specially designed environmentally friendly memento was also presented to the President by Professor Tilak Hewawasam, Chairman of the Central Environmental Authority and Kapila Mahesh Rajapaksha, Director General of the Authority.

Following the presentation of awards, the President joined the award winners for a group photograph.

Addressing the gathering, Minister of Environment Dr. Dammika Patabendi stated that when the government, industries and the public work together towards a common goal, nothing is impossible. The Minister further said that the Ministry of Environment is committed to providing the necessary research support, encouragement and technical guidance to strengthen the collaboration between the government, industries and the people.

The Minister emphasised that protecting the environment is not a responsibility assigned to a single institution or ministry, but rather a collective and national effort. He added that the Presidential Environment Awards Ceremony should not merely be an occasion to celebrate achievements, but an opportunity to move forward towards a greener, cleaner and more sustainable nation.

Minister of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Sunil Handunnetti, Secretary to the Ministry of Environment K. R. Uduwawala, Deputy Minister of Environment Anton Jayakody, senior officials of the Ministry of Environment and the Central Environmental Authority, award recipients and many distinguished guests were also present at the occasion.

ජනාධිපති කාර්යාලය, අධ්‍යාපන අමාත්‍යාංශය සහ පාර්ලිමේන්තු ජනසන්නිවේදන අංශය එක්ව පාසල් සිසුන් උදෙසා මෙම වැඩසටහන ක්‍රියාත්මක කරයි.

கம்பஹா கஹடோவிட்ட முஸ்லிம் மகளிர் வித்தியாலயத்தின் மாணவிகளுக்கு ஜனாதிபதி செயலகம் ஏற்பாடு செய்யும் ‘Vision’ நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்கும் வாய்ப்பு (22-10-2025) கிடைத்தது.

ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகம், கல்வி அமைச்சு மற்றும் இலங்கை பாராளுமன்றத்தின் தொடர்பாடல் பிரிவுடன் இணைந்து பாடசாலை மாணவர்களுக்காக இந்த நிகழ்ச்சித் திட்டம் செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

இலங்கை நாட்டின் பிள்ளைகள் என்ற வகையில் சமாதானம், ஒற்றுமை, சகோதரத்துவம் மற்றும் சகவாழ்வைக் கட்டியெழுப்புவதன் மூலம் வாழ்க்கையில் வெற்றி அடைய வேண்டும் என்று மாணவிகளிடையே உரையாற்றிய ஜனாதிபதியின் சிரேஷ்ட மேலதிக செயலாளர் (ஊழல் எதிர்ப்பு) சட்டத்தரணி கே. என். எம் குமாரசிங்க தெரிவித்தார்.

இந்த நிகழ்ச்சித் திட்டத்துடன் இணைந்த வகையில், சுற்றுச்சூழல் பாதுகாப்பின் முக்கியத்துவத்தை உணர்த்தும் வகையில், பாடசாலைக்கு பெறுமதி மிக்க மரக்கன்றுகளும் வழங்கிவைக்கப்பட்டன.

ஜனாதிபதி அலுவலகத்தின் முப்படை ஒருங்கிணைப்புப் பிரிவின் உதவிப் பணிப்பாளர் மேஜர் நதீக தங்கொல்ல மற்றும் கம்பஹா கஹடோவிட்ட முஸ்லிம் மகளிர் வித்தியாலயத்தின் அதிபர் எம். எம். எம். ஸர்ஜூன் ஆகியோருடன் ஆசிரியர்கள் உள்ளிட்ட பலர் இந்நிகழ்வில் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.

Students of Kahatowita Muslim Girls’ School, Gampaha Visit the Presidential Secretariat

Students of the Kahatowita Muslim Girls’ School in Gampaha were given the opportunity to participate in the “Vision” programme organized by the Presidential Secretariat (22-10-2025).

This programme is conducted jointly by the Presidential Secretariat, the Ministry of Education and the Parliamentary Department of Communication, aimed at benefiting school students.

Addressing the students, Senior Additional Secretary to the President (Anti-Corruption), Attorney-at-Law K. N. M. Kumarasinghe, emphasized that as Sri Lankan children, they should establish lives based on peace, unity, harmony and coexistence.

In line with the programme, a valuable selection of plant saplings was gifted to the school, symbolizing the importance of environmental conservation.

Assistant Director of the Tri-Forces Coordination Unit of the Presidential Secretariat Major Nadika Dangolla, Principal of Kahatowita Muslim Girls’ School in Gampaha M. M. M. Sarjoon, teachers and other invitees were present for the occasion.
