💛 Did you know?
Leukemia is the most common type of childhood cancer, making up about 1 in 3 diagnoses worldwide. It begins in the bone marrow where blood cells are produced, and it affects the body’s ability to make healthy blood cells.

There are different forms of leukemia in children, but the most common is Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). Thanks to advances in treatment, survival rates for ALL have improved significantly in high-income countries. However, children in many low- and middle-income regions still face limited access to early diagnosis, medicines, and specialized care.

Raising awareness about leukemia is vital—it helps push for equitable access to treatment, more research funding, and stronger global advocacy so every child has the chance to survive and thrive.
