It was a night to remember for New Generation Football Club as the team delivered a strong and confident performance, continuing their impressive run in the BAYBAY Cup.

The spotlight shone brightly on Rickelme Lionel, who made a triumphant return to competitive football after 1 year and 4 months away from the game. His comeback brought joy across the football fraternity, and the entire club was filled with pride to see him back on the field doing what he loves. Rickelme wasted no time making an impact, scoring within just 5 minutes of the opening whistle, a truly special moment.

Captain Yanic Noel led by example, finding the back of the net in the 15th minute to score the team’s second goal. With that strike, Noel now has 4 goals in just 2 games, underlining his importance and leadership within the squad.

While the goals grabbed attention, the Man of the Match performance, in our view, belongs to Arlton Lionel, the New Generation FC goalkeeper. Under sustained pressure from a determined Gros Islet Youth Lions attack, Arlton remained composed, focused, and resilient. His determination paid off as he secured another clean sheet, making it two games, two clean sheets in the tournament so far.
