ROYAL SAINT LUCIA POLICE FORCE

Between May 24 and July 1, 2026, the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force (RSLPF) conducted Operation Zero Hour, an island-wide, intelligence-led policing initiative aimed at disrupting criminal activity, enhancing public safety, and increasing police visibility across Saint Lucia.

The operation brought together personnel from the Gangs, Narcotics and Fi****ms Unit (GNFU), Special Services Unit (SSU), Division of Road Safety and Traffic Investigations (DRSTI), Police Marine Unit (PMU), Criminal Investigations Department (CID), Vulnerable Persons Team (VPT), Patrol Teams, and the Northern, Central, and Southern Police Divisions.

Operation Zero Hour focused on targeting known offenders, executing intelligence-driven search warrants, disrupting the movement of illegal fi****ms and narcotics, strengthening patrols in key areas, and preventing criminal activity before it could occur.

During the operation, officers achieved the following results:
• 484 persons searched
• 4,851 vehicles stopped
• 216 vehicles searched
• 17 premises searched
• 49 search warrants executed
• 7 courier sweeps conducted
• 4 highway patrol operations
• 37 vessels stopped and boarded
• 453 traffic tickets issued
• 9 traffic-related arrests
• 16 drug-related arrests
• 7 firearm-related arrests
• 12 arrests for serious offences, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, and assault
• 12 persons formally charged
• 7 fi****ms recovered
• 1,006 rounds of ammunition recovered
• 54 dangerous weapons seized
• 3 cannabis eradication exercises conducted
• 48 vehicles impounded
• 45 police cautions issued
