It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of His Excellency Dr. Abdallah Bou Habib, a devoted member of Ahliah School’s Board of Trustees and former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon.

On behalf of the Ahliah School administration, faculty, and staff, we extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences on the loss of a remarkable leader and cherished member of our school community.

Dr. Bou Habib’s relationship with Ahliah began many years ago. Before embarking on his distinguished diplomatic and political career, he taught at Ahliah School for two years in the 1960s. In July 2012, he returned to Ahliah as a member of the Board of Trustees, becoming a pillar of strength in our journey of transformation and growth.

His great contributions as Chair of the Board of Trustees’ Nomination Committee, and his valuable insights as a member of the Finance Committee, were instrumental in shaping the school’s strategic direction. His support during Ahliah’s Centennial celebrations in the academic year 2016–2017 reflected his genuine pride in Ahliah’s legacy and his unwavering belief in its future.

Dr. Bou Habib was more than a board member, he was a passionate advocate for education and a true believer in the mission and values of Ahliah School. We will remember him for his integrity, wisdom, dedication, and the lasting impact he made on our institution.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this painful time.
