Hello dear fans. We know we have been silent for a while but we have been working on an interesting new project.
Please follow our project specific page Abandoned - مَنْبوذِة. It is a new short film project that tackles a gender biased law in Lebanon that denies women from granting citizenship to their foreign husbands and children from a foreign husband.
Stay tuned. we will have many updates for you and we will be launching our crowdfunding campaign soon. We hope that you will be interested in helping us make this short film a reality. The very least that you can do is to simply share and talk about our project.

Article 1 of Decree No.15 on Lebanese Nationality of 19 January 1925 "Is considered Lebanese: Every person born of a Lebanese Father." This gender discriminatory law is the source of many problems for many families as the children of these Lebanese women married to foreign men may not have access to public education, public healthcare, work permits, mobility rights, and compounded economic problems due to bureaucratic fees normally not experienced by Lebanese families, and further obstacle to social and class mobility. (Mansour & Abou Aad, "Women’s Citizenship Rights in Lebanon", 2012)
What's your perspective on this law? .

A while back several Lebanese bloggers and media where proudly discussing the possibility of a man of Lebanese background becoming the president of Brazil. The following article demonstrates the Lebanese trait of cheering and singing the praises of those who are corrupt... both at home and abroad.
To See the Real Story in Brazil, Look at Who is Being Installed as President — and Finance Chiefs Using a familiar tactic, Brazilian oligarchs plot to install their own in control of the nation's economy.
