We are so inspired 🌟 Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to visit the dedicated women in their electrical repair session. Listening to their stories, we were truly moved by their eagerness to learn and the profound impact this program is having on their daily lives. We can’t wait to see them complete their training and embrace the opportunities ahead. Shout-out to our incredible implementation partner, Nusaned ,and the skilled trainers from Medilab, whose dedication makes this program a success.

🗣️Announcement: Introducing HandyWomen on Call, our new program!
👩🏭🧑🏼🏭🛠️ HandyWomen on Call is dedicated to empowering women in Lebanon from vulnerable backgrounds. The program's goal is to ensure long-term economic independence, dignified job opportunities, and build a supportive community that challenges stereotypes and fosters entrepreneurship. It will equip 100 women with the tools, skills, and support they need to thrive in traditionally male-dominated fields.
We're excited that we’ve kicked off the program in September 2023, and our first cohort of 100 women will be starting with the hands-on workshops in carpentry and electrical work next week. HandyWomen On Call is expected to last 12 months, and we’re partnering with Nusaned to execute the program.
We're also thrilled that we have won the AEIF grant (Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund), funded by the US Embassy in Beirut, which is allowing us to bring this program to life.
