AUB and Ras Beirut in 150 Years of Photographs
Polypod worked closely with AUB's Neighborhood Initiative to create a photographic journey that takes the viewer over several decades of Ras Beirut and AUB, to commemorate AUB’s 150th Anniversary. Curated by Maria Abunnasr and the AUB Neighborhood Initiative, the exhibition is divided into six sections displayed along Bliss Street's western end, starting with Ras Beirut’s Seafront, moving to Manara, Bliss Street, Hamra, and ending in Ayn Mreiseh. The exhibition is composed of sixty-one panels with multiple themed photographs, mounted along the AUB Bliss Street fence between the Main and Medical gates, engaging the community and activating the urban edge between the campus and the neighborhood.
