Let's Graduate

The current war in Lebanon has left children carrying feelings of fear, stress, uncertainty with little understanding to what is actually happening inside them.

This Monday, we are changing that.

Meeting My Brain: Science of Stress 🧠 is a hands-on neuroscience workshop for children aged 8–15 at Let’s Graduate Verdun. In one session, children will:

- Get introduced to the brain and nervous system
- Understand why the brain creates stress — and why that’s normal
- Learn evidence based tools to manage stress, especially during uncertain times

This workshop will equip children with knowledge, self-awareness, and emotional regulation skills they can use immediately, because understanding what is happening in your brain is the first step to feeling in control of it.

Facilitated by Abdulrahman Abou Dahesh — Fulbright Scholar, MSc in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas, and founder of Neurochem Lab, a project that brings neuroscience education to children through storytelling.
