تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة هي دعوة عالمية للعمل من أجل مستقبل وأفضل أكثر خضرة . هل تعلم أن أكثر من 80٪ من مياه الصرف الصحي في العالم تُترك دون معالجة؟ وفي لبنان، تصل هذه النسبة إلى 92٪!

🌍 CUBEX is thrilled to have collaborated with Eawag on a project focused on non-sewered sanitation systems. The project focused on the usage of sensors to predict total suspended solids to automate conditioner dosage in non-sewered sanitation systems.

By enhancing process control and reducing environmental footprints, this research highlights the transformative role of technology in sustainable wastewater management.

💧 The study identified optical light-attenuation sensors as the most accurate and cost-effective solution for managing solids in variable wastewater conditions. This advancement has the potential to significantly improve the efficiency and reliability of sanitation systems globally.

🌟 Project Spotlight: Omni-Processor Operation Management for UNICEF

Implemented by UNICEF to process wastewater from informal settlements and evaluate the quality of biosolids generated from the dewatering and drying processes.

📋 Scope of Work:
The project involved comprehensive management of the facility, including engaging local agents, overseeing day to day operations, ensuring adherence to sampling and quality standards and daily data collection.

🌍 Impact & Sustainability:
In addition to the impact generated from the discharge of compliant effluents, the projects provided valuable insights for non-sewered sanitation management in the developing context.
