The UPS history of the company started in 1979 when Fahd Saccal, electrical engineer graduate from Supelec Paris, developed the first locally made online UPS in Lebanon designed to supply critical applications in the banking and telecom sectors. In 1984, besides its design & production, Saccal Systems entered into a strategic partnership to represent the french online UPS manufacturer Socomec. A global leader in its field, Socomec advanced Green Power UPS systems have the highest online efficiency on the market (certified by TUV and Bureau Veritas) ensuring maximum energy savings on the electrical bill of high power users such as factories, hospitals and large companies, universities or organizations. In 2006, the company developed its power availability portfolio by designing locally the first grid-connected photovoltaic inverter prototype in Lebanon. Saccal Systems completed its offer through system integration of solar products for numerous applications: grid connected, off-grid, and building integrated systems specific to Green Buildings.
