Sphere Building Tomorrow

Integrity and safety are at the core of effective humanitarian action. These images reflect a series of training sessions delivered between August 2025 and January 2026, engaging both workers and volunteers across our food security interventions. Covering key topics such as PSEAH (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse), Psychological First Aid (PFA), conflict sensitivity and resolution, and Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), these sessions reinforce our commitment to delivering aid with dignity, responsibility, and respect. This essential capacity-strengthening effort was made possible through the support of the Lebanon Humanitarian Fund (LHF).

توثق هذه الصور سلسلة من الجلسات التدريبية التي نُفذت بين آب 2025 وكانون الثاني 2026، واستهدفت العاملين والمتطوعين ضمن تدخلات الأمن الغذائي. وقد تناولت هذه الجلسات مواضيع أساسية مثل الحماية من الاستغلال والانتهاك الجنسيين، والإسعافات النفسية الأولية، وحساسية النزاع وحل النزاعات، والدعم النفسي والاجتماعي، بما يعزز التزامنا بتقديم المساعدات بكرامة ومسؤولية واحترام. وقد أُتيح هذا الجهد لبناء القدرات بفضل دعم الصندوق الإنساني للبنان (LHF).

At SPHERE Building Tomorrow, we were pleased to take part in the Lebanon Localisation Lab – Beirut 2026, a timely space for reflection and forward thinking.

This initiative supported us in collectively re-imagining the long-term role, readiness, and sustainability of local NGOs, and in assessing where we stand today to better prepare for the future of locally led aid.

We extend our appreciation to Lebanon Humanitarian & Development Forum LHDF and NEAR (Network for Empowered Aid Response) for creating this opportunity and for their continued efforts to advance meaningful localization.

As said: This is an important step forward—and only the beginning.

As part of the RDPP-funded project, SPHERE Building Tomorrow (SBT), in sub-partnership with CIS, and with the support of ACTED Lebanon and Live Love, is supporting outreach to youth and individuals to access practical, market-relevant vocational training opportunities.

This initiative aims to connect young women and men with skills development pathways in household electrical appliance repair, enhancing employability, technical competencies, and pathways toward sustainable livelihoods.

كجزء من المشروع المموّل من برنامج RDPP، تعمل منظمة سفير لبناء الغد بالشراكة الفرعية مع CIS، وبدعم من ACTED لبنان وLive Love، على دعم أنشطة الوصول إلى الشباب والأفراد لتمكينهم من الاستفادة من فرص تدريب مهني عملي ومرتبط باحتياجات سوق العمل.

تهدف هذه المبادرة إلى ربط الشابات والشبان بمسارات تطوير المهارات في مجال صيانة وإصلاح الأجهزة الكهربائية المنزلية، بما يعزّز فرص التوظيف، ويطوّر الكفاءات التقنية، ويفتح آفاقًا نحو سبل عيش مستدامة.
