Studio Policies & Guidelines

The 10-Minute Rule
Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes late. Arriving late may cause you to miss the warm-up, which is essential for injury prevention.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours before class time.
Late cancellations or no-shows will result in no class credit.

House Policies – Please Read Carefully

We want you to feel confident, comfortable, and safe the first time you take an aerial class. Please follow the guidelines below when choosing your outfit:
• Wear close-fitting clothing that covers your legs and torso (for example, leggings and a fitted t-shirt or tank top). This helps protect your skin, as aerial apparatuses can feel uncomfortable at first while your body adjusts to new sensations.
• Bring a sweatshirt or long-sleeve top, especially during colder months. It can take time for your body to warm up, and extra layers help keep muscles warm and protect your arms when learning new skills.
• No jewelry (rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings) and no clothing with zippers or metal. These items can damage the fabric and interfere with your practice.
• Please check your fingernails. Long nails can make gripping the fabric difficult and are not recommended for aerial arts.
• Most importantly, have fun with your outfit if you’d like! Bright colors, fun prints, and playful workout sets are always welcome and appreciated at Fly Freak.
