RDCL organized a roundtable discussion titled “End of Service Indemnity – Where Are We Today?”, tackling one of the most pressing regulatory and social protection challenges facing employees, employers and the legal private sector in Lebanon. The session took place at RDCL offices in the presence of a large audience of RDCL members.
The session brought together RDCL members Me Tatiana Hamie Itani and Me Nadim Abboud from Abboud & Associates; and Mr. Hicham El-Moukammal President of the Lebanese Tax Association. It was moderated by RDCL board member Mr. Hassan Sinno.
This roundtable is part of RDCL’s ongoing roadmap to address the regulatory, fiscal, and social protection matters that shape the operating environment for Lebanon’s legal private sector.

RDCL President Mrs. Joumana Saddi Chaya, accompanied by Vice President Mr. Cyrille Arida and General Manager Mr. Kamal Abi Fadel, visited H.E. Minister Amer Bisat, Minister of Economy and Trade of Lebanon, at his office.
RDCL highlighted to the Minister the exceptional difficulties currently facing Lebanese businesses and the country’s legal private sector, amid the ongoing economic and financial challenges.
RDCL also commended the ongoing efforts led by the Ministry of Economy and Trade under Minister Bisat’s leadership, and reaffirmed that it stands firmly alongside the Minister in this endeavor.
On Labor Day, RDCL honors the men and women whose work supports Lebanon’s economy.
Across all sectors, their dedication sustains businesses, preserves continuity, and keeps the country moving forward — even in the most demanding conditions.
