Beyond Breastfeeding

A month ago, we made the hardest decision and left with a heavy heart ❤️‍🩹.
I have no words for the cruelty and injustice of the world we live in. I’m doing my best to stay positive for Amelia, but it’s difficult. I see people and children in other countries enjoying a simple life, while we and our children have to live in constant stress, surrounded by the sounds of bombs and planes.
I keep asking myself, how is this fair? We truly don’t deserve what is happening to us.

I don’t know what kind of Lebanon we will come back to, but I hope it’s a Lebanon where we can live in peace, where our children can enjoy the simple pleasures of life as other children do.

I feel helpless, but for now, all we can do is donate and support those in need. It is the Lebanese people who are the country’s greatest hope 🙏🏻.

I pray that this nightmare ends soon.
I pray for justice and for the peace we so desperately need and deserve.
Above all, I pray for a better, safer, and more just world for our children.
