Digital Signage for Sales: Making In-Store Teams More Effective

In sales, everything depends on how quickly a team member can understand a customer’s needs and guide them toward a decision. When key information is already clear at the right moment, the conversation becomes faster, smoother, and more confident.

Digital signage helps reduce pressure on store teams and makes the entire sales process more structured. It answers common questions in advance, highlights important conditions, and supports employees directly on the shop floor.

✅Saving time in everyday interactions
Screens display essential information about products, services, and delivery terms. This reduces the need for repetitive explanations and allows staff to move faster from consultation to closing a sale.

✅Increasing conversion rates
Customers approach staff with a better understanding of the offer and its key benefits. This leads to clearer conversations, fewer doubts, and a higher likelihood of purchase.

✅Supporting peak hours
During busy periods, screens take over part of the communication load. This helps teams handle higher customer flow without sacrificing service quality or slowing down interactions.

✅Helping achieve sales targets
Digital signage can highlight priority products, active promotions, and special offers. This keeps staff focused on the most important sales goals and improves overall performance.

When used correctly, digital signage becomes not just a communication tool, but an active part of the sales process—supporting both customers and teams at every step.

📈 📊 Digital Signage for Marketing: how screens help increase sales

In offline retail, brands have only a few seconds to capture a shopper’s attention. If a clear and relevant message appears at the right moment, the likelihood of purchase increases significantly — and this is exactly where digital screens make the difference.

Digital Signage helps highlight the right products and promotions instantly, making communication more visible without the ongoing costs of printed materials. It also gives marketing teams a flexible tool: content can be updated anytime, new campaigns can be launched quickly, and creatives can be tested in real-world conditions.

Here are the key benefits of Digital Signage for marketing:

📌 Increased sales impact
Screens draw attention to promotions and products right at the point of decision — near shelves or at checkout areas. This boosts impulse purchases and helps accelerate the movement of key products.

📌 Faster campaign launches
Content can be updated in just a few clicks within minutes. No need for print production or in-store replacements. This allows teams to react quickly, launch promotions faster, and adapt messaging to current business goals.

📌 Creative testing in real environments
Multiple content variations can run simultaneously, making it possible to compare performance in real conditions. This helps identify what actually works and reduces spend on ineffective creatives.

📌 Integration with other systems
Digital Signage can connect with external services, social media, and mobile apps. This creates a unified communication flow and strengthens campaigns by aligning offline and online experiences into one marketing ecosystem.

Lamoda: Digital Signage for Internal Communications

Lamoda is a major online retailer with offices and warehouses, where it’s crucial to deliver information to employees quickly. The previous communication system couldn’t keep up with this task. Different teams found it difficult to work with the screens, and information didn’t always reach people on time.

☑️ What we did:

We connected the entire screen network to the SmartPlayer platform. Device management became centralized and remote — all updates are now made from a single point.

We also enhanced the system:
🟥 implemented SSO via corporate email to ensure secure and easy access.
🟥 added a widget for automatic authorization in corporate services.
🟥 deployed a dedicated hybrid server architecture to meet security requirements.

A total of 82 devices are used in the project, including Android panels and Raspberry Pi — across both offices and warehouses.
