#'70s
Please welcome SOLID™ rehousing for LOMO Classic '70s Standard Speeds!
After four years of meticulous development, we've achieved the perfect balance of innovation yet staying within reasonable costs. Well-grounded things take time, and we refused to compromise.
It all now starts with teaser followed by reels revealing feature list and detailed animations, showcasing nerdy deep-dives into how rehousing is made. We aim for promos that teach, not exploit.
The result is what we proudly name Generation 2 housing — offering you revolutionary yet culminative feature-rich SOLID™ housing. Built to last long in harsh production environment, protecting your precious and fragile vintage optics.
It is a precise mechanical system with production tolerances / play compensation, impact and fall resistant. No wear even after high work runs, long no service life.
That’s based on who we are, a small but mighty team of three industry professionals:
— chief engineer with 45+ years designing cine gear;
— lens technician specializing on soviet cine lenses, who's handled enough lenses to know what truly works;
And a DоP with an eye for aesthetics and a brain for precision math and project analysis / check.
In short, SOLID™ was created by and for cinematographers, who demand more.
