⠀ 🍎This attractively-located championship standard club was first established as a nine-hole course – and the first golf club in Kazakhstan – in 1996.
⠀ 🍎It was extended to 18 holes in 2004.
⠀ 🍎Nurtau is the more established, and perhaps the more approachable, of Almaty’s two 18-hole courses.
⠀ 🍎There’s a driving range and practice green.
⠀ 🍎Nurtau has hosted the annual Kazakhstan Open tournament since its inception in 2005, and the course is apparently a hit with the professionals – Colin Montgomerie himself played the first ever 18 holes alongside the President of Kazakhstan when the course reopened after its extension in 2004.
