Shish kebab was known in our country before the 18th century, but it was called “spinned” - meat turned on a spit. “Royal dishes” of the 16th-17th centuries mention “turned” chickens, ducks, meat and hares. The word “kebab” itself is a distorted Crimean Tatar word “shish” - “skewer”, “shishlyk” - “something on a spit”.

What kind of meat is healthy to eat?
