Try this exercise in prayer: Give yourself a quiet place & time. Then place your hands over your heart, close your eyes and take very deep, slow breaths. As you inhale, say "Thank." As you exhale, say "You." Repeat it slowly, quietly: "Thank you. Thank you...." Just those two words, nothing more. Focus on your physical heart. Do this for as long as you feel God directs you.
