Chuncheon Taekwondo Cultural Festival
Taekwondo Cultural Exchange Tour:
Dates: June 21 - July 5, 2024 (15 days)

Purpose: To participate in the World Taekwondo Cultural Festival and promote Korean culture through Taekwondo

Participation Fee: US0000 per person

Conditions:

1. Taekwondo festival participation fee included (excluding competition fees)
● Interpretation services and basic transportation provided during the festival
● Contact network for convenient services
● Snacks, drinks and other convenient services provided
2. Accommodation: 4-star hotel, twin room (dormitory provided by the organizer during the festival)
3. Transportation: 40-seater bus
4. Meals: Korean set menu for one meal, other meals and snacks (snacks and drinks)
5. Entrance fees: All entrance fees and experience fees listed in the itinerary included
8. Guide: English interpreter

Itinerary:

Day 1:

Arrive at Incheon International Airport (ICN)
Welcome to Korea!
Check-in to the hotel

Day 2:

Breakfast at the hotel
Check-out of the hotel
Travel to Nami Island (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes)
Lunch
Nami Island sightseeing
Take the Samcaksan Mountain Lake Cable Car to enjoy the panoramic view of Chuncheon
Check-in to the hotel in Chuncheon
Dinner- Dakgalbi Set Meal
Enjoy the Chuncheon Makguksu Dakgalbi Festival and Watch a celebration performance: celebrates the two most famous dishes of Chuncheon 막국수 (makguksu), a cold buckwheat noodle soup, and 닭갈비 (dakgalbi), a stir-fried spicy chicken dish.

Experience the Gangchon Kim Yujeong Railbike
Visit the Yeokbaekyang Station
Lunch (Korean food)
Visit the Soyanggang Dam and Soyanggang Skywalk
Visit the Chuncheon Forest Park Forest Education Center
Dinner tour Chuncheon Makguksu Dakgalbi Festival
Rest at the hotel

Day 4:

Travel to Paju (approximately 2 hours 30 minutes)
Lunch
Visit the "Sirius Taekwondo Demonstration Team Training Center
Watch the Demonstration Team Performance and participate in the Education and Training Program
Visit the Mutosport Exhibition Center
Visit the Imjingak Peace Nuri Park
Dinner after check-in to the hotel in Seoul

Day 5:

Breakfast at the hotel
Visit Gwanghwamun Square, Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Folk Museum of Korea, and Bukchon Hanok Village
Lunch
Visit the HikrGround- a space for travelers from all over the world
Visit the Cheong Wa Dae, the official residence of the President of South Korea, and the Insadong Traditional Street
Dinner after rest at the hotel

Day 6:

Breakfast at the hotel
Travel to Everland
Enjoy the rides and attractions at Everland, a fantasy and adventure theme park
Lunch at a restaurant in Everland
Meet the guide and transportation at 5:00 PM
Dinner after rest at the hotel

Day 7:

Visit Seoul Sky (Lotte Tower Observatory) and COEX Convention Center
Lunch
Visit Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong, the Mecca of Korean shopping
Visit Hongdae, a popular cultural district
Watch the Nanta Show
Dinner after rest at the hotel

Day 8:

Check-out of the hotel
Travel to Cheonan Baekseok University (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)
Lunch
Visit the Baekseok University Taekwondo Demonstration Team
: Participate in a cultural exchange with the team
Travel to Daejeon (approximately 1 hour)
Visit "Eunjeong-i Cultural Street" Expo Science Park, Hanbit Tower, Expo Bridge
Dinner at a local restaurant

Day 9:

Breakfast at the hotel in Daejeon
Check-out of the hotel
Travel to Muju Taekwondowon (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)
Check-in Taekwondowon prooram
Participate in a special program for tour participants:
● Taekwondo seminar
● Healing taekwondo training
Lunch at the academy
Finish the special program at 5:00 PM
Travel back to Daejeon (approximately 1 hour 30 minutes)

Experience Hwangto-gil Trail on Mt. Gyeryong(Healthy barefoot trekking)
