The company was formed in November 2011 and has made a very successful start; in our first year of operation we organised around 300 customer visits of the DPRK, already making us the largest UK-based tour operator to the country. We are a small and simple setup, focussing on customer service and real value rather than fancy marketing and gimmicks. Operating entirely online to reduce our overheads

We aim to answer all emails within 24 hours (normally we do so even quicker), and we always welcome telephone calls. Success in DPRK tourism is not necessarily about offering the ‘next big thing’, inflated claims or overly bombastic rhetoric. In our opinion it is based largely on having a close, sustainable and long term relationship with our Korean hosts. In this regard, we have an excellent relationship with the Korea International Travel Company, the country’s principal tourism company, and correspond daily with their Beijing and Pyongyang offices. This allows us to provide our customers with first-hand, up to the minute knowledge and information concerning DPRK tourism and providing peace of mind to our customers. ‘On the ground’ expertise is assured thanks to our staff travelling regularly to the country, sustaining relationships and keeping an eye out for new opportunities. We are endorsed by the Korea International Travel Company as an officially recognised DPRK travel agent, and we are also official worldwide sales Agents of Air Koryo, the DPRK’s national airline and international bridge to the rest of the world. Furthermore, we are members of the Pacific Asia Travel Association, the world’s leading professional organisation for developing tourism in the Asia Pacific region. Aviation Tour of the DPRK, 2021

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation we were left with no choice but to postpone the 2020 aviation tour to the following year.

Our customers now have loads of time to plan for the 2021 DPRK Aviation Tour, taking place 18th - 22nd October!

Flying on Ilyushin Il-18, Il-62, Il-76, Tupolev Tu-134, Tu-154, Tu-204, Antonov An-24, An-148 and Honeybee Microlites, the tour combines a wonderful mix of point to point flying, circular joyrides and low-level panoramic city sightseeing.

Learning from our years of experience, we have refined the itinerary to create a time-efficient 4 night package that maximises flying opportunities. This really is a tour not to be missed for classic aviation enthusiasts!

We will also be offering for only the second time ever, a ‘Round the DPRK’ sightseeing flight, a whistle-stop day trip of airports across the country. The routing is planned to be Pyongyang – Sinuiju – Samjiyon – Orang – Sondok – Kalma – Pyongyang, the aircraft is planned to be a TU-134 (the 'pocket rocket') and we are arranging for all passengers to disembark at each airport to take a few photos before proceeding onward to the next stop. A fitting end to a unique and unmissable proposition!

For those wishing to see more of the country beyond aviation, a 3 night sightseeing extension can be bolted on to the tour which includes a trip North to the picturesque Mount Hyangsan and South to Kaesong and the DMZ.

We simply don’t know how long these wonderful Soviet classic airliners will continue to be operated and we urge anyone interested to get onboard before its too late – this tour may very well be the ‘last of the last’!
