TOMB RAIDER EXPERIENCE
Welcome to Sothea Angkor Tours
Hello my name is Phirom I have a lifetimes knowledge of Angkor Wat Temple and all of the surrounding Temples. I have held an official government tour license for over 19 years. I was very fortunate to have worked on the set for Tomb Raider starring Lara Croft working as an advisor to the Crew and transporting them from location to location advising them on the symbolism and historical context of each locations shoot.

Pick up from your accomodation is 6am to the Temple ticket office for fast track tickets then on to the first location of Phnom Bakeng (the opening scene). I will then transport you to the East Gate of Angkor Thom (Gate of Death) then a short break of 30 minutes for breakfast.

We will take in the atmosphere of Banteay Kdie the scene of Lara Crofts arrival in her supercharged Defender Land Rover then on to the Jungle Temple of Ta Phrom this is truly a breathtaking location.

We will take a 1 hour break for lunch

I will then take you to our final location the majesty of Angkor Wat 'Heaven on Earth' (the healing scene).
Angkor Wat is without doubt one of the greatest Temples ever to have been conceived in humanity. I will explain how the floating village was constructed on the moat at Angkor and every photo shoot location in the films Cambodian Temple scenes.
