Are you interested in doing ASEAN-focused research in the United States? Apply for the Fulbright U.S.-ASEAN Visiting Scholar Program today! 😊
Fulbright Visiting Scholars may apply to conduct a 3–4-month research project that supports broad ASEAN initiatives and priority issues to the U.S.–ASEAN relationship. Open to University faculty, foreign ministry and government officials, professionals in the private sector, think tanks and other NGOs whose work focuses on U.S.–ASEAN issues. Fulbright Visiting Scholars will conduct their research at a U.S. institution such as university, think tank, or research institute.
Areas of study include, but are not limited to: regional economic and financial market integration, AI safety and policy, technology integration, expansion of maritime cooperation, education, food technology, information science, journalism, law, public administration, public health, trade and investment.
⏰Deadline: 5:00p.m. on January 16, 2026.
👉Program Timeframe: 3-4 months, beginning January-March 2027.
