Using “therefore” and “consequently”
a/. “Therefore” and “consequently” have the same meaning “as a result”.
b/. They are called transition that connect the idea between two sentences.
Example:
1. Jim didn’t study. Therefore, he failed the test.
2. Jim didn’t study. Consequently, he failed the test.
3. Jim didn’t study. He, therefore, failed the test.
