🚨 Open Call: Living Structures Artist Grants

Living Structures invites emerging Cambodian artists, architects, and creative designers to apply for its Artist Grants Programme — supporting the creation of new work inspired by the legacy of Vann Molyvann and Cambodia’s New Khmer Architecture.

This initiative seeks proposals that explore the intersection of art, architecture, and the city — reflecting on the cultural, social, and urban impact of Cambodia’s modernist heritage, and how it continues to shape contemporary life today.
Five selected grantees will each receive USD 1,200 to develop original works, which will be exhibited at Vann Molyvann’s House in Phnom Penh in August 2026.

Who can apply: Emerging Cambodian artists, architects, and designers based in Cambodia

🗓 Application deadline: 1 June 2026, 5PM

📥 Applicants must submit the following:
• A current curriculum vitae (CV)
• An artist statement and short description of your current practice
• A portfolio of recent work (max. 10 MB)
• A brief project proposal, including your intended concept and objectives in relation to the Living Structure’s artist grant program

We invite artists from all disciplines to engage with this significant architectural legacy and bring forward new perspectives on Cambodia’s evolving cultural landscape.
