On the morning of 23 March 2026, the Asian Vision Institute (AVI) welcomed the visit of H.E. Steven Pang Chee Wee, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Singapore to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the AVI office. The courtesy meeting served as a valuable opportunity on the basis of continued cooperation to exchange views on CambodiaβSingapore relations and ways to further strengthen bilateral ties between the two countries, beyond state-to-state relations to people-to-people ties.
During the meeting, both sides discussed Cambodiaβs development and progress on trade and investment, agriculture, food security, and connectivity, as well as current and emerging issues affecting the country and the region. The two sides also exchanged perspectives on Cambodiaβs relations with other countries, particularly within ASEAN and the Mekong sub-region, while underscoring the importance of continued dialogue, mutual understanding, and practical cooperation in addressing shared challenges and advancing common interests.
