The name Mummy Ruth was chosen in honour of the director’s late mother Ruth Wanjiru Mungai. The director’s Jane Mungai and Grace Githinji have worked in the clothing industry both in the U.K and in Kenya. Mummy Ruth is well known for the collection in stock from reputable stores in the United Kingdom.
