Some few days i shared a screenshot about how Facebook could access your sms and other confidential info. Today in the morning i bumped into an article about some vulnerabilities in WhatsApp.
Now it happens that the bad guys can intercept your connection and decrypt your messages. One thing people might not know is that WhatsApp saves your conversations in the phone sd card. So crackers have developed apps which when permitted will be able to read and write all the information on the sd card. This flaw is highly encouraged by users who do not read the permissions he/she is granting to an app. So if you grant an app permission to read and write you sd card, it means that the same application can upload all you information to a server and you might get you dirty linen out their for all people to see. Google has tried to bar such apps from the store but still some manages to enter their Store. So users be wary of apps that can access your sd card without your knowledge.

Embedded systems seems to be a very interesting field to venture in. Let wait and see if this gonna be next big thing
