Here's some memories from the second red carpet movie screening, the day after the VVIP event.

What a glorious night 🙌🏽 The audience brought beautiful energy to the event, before and after the screening (during the Q&A session, meet & greet, the photo ops all around)... The vibes were wondrous 💯

My outfit choice was inspired by my on-screen character, Kilimo 😎

2 Asunder | VVIP Red Carpet Premiere Night ✨️🥂

Last Thursday night was a dream! I attended my first ever film premiere of a movie I'm in... Lord knows how much I've longed for a night like this 🥲

Before then, I was going through an intense cocktail of feelings and emotions: excitement, anxiety, fear, hope, and everything in between. You just don't know what the finished product looks like till you see it, especially considering the bajillion jigsaw pieces it takes to make a movie... From the original idea/concept to the scripting and extensive planning to the actual filming with the massive cast and crew to the year-long process of post production and marketing... There's tons of moving parts and variables, seen and unforeseen. It's a LOT.

The relief, satisfaction, and happiness that I felt when I finally saw the film on Thursday night! I've been thanking God every day since 🙏🏽 It really came together!

To the many gifted and extremely skilled individuals that brought this project to beautiful fruition... RECEIVE YOUR FLOWERS 💐 Y'all are stars! Cheers to everyone that came to the Thursday and Friday night premiere screenings, and to those that have watched and will watch the movie during its run at the theatres, as well as those who will catch the film on streaming... It means the world to us. Thank you! Your support is the fuel that validates our hard work and keeps our dreams blazing as we indulge and grow our craft to higher heights. BLESS YOU ALL 🙌🏽💯
