ART is a small but dedicated team of experienced and qualified members. Each of us have a passion for riding and a passion for road safety. ,
We have a no nonsense approach to training and are accountable and professional, we do not support breaking the law or disrespecting other road users. We are keen to be part of raising the standards of road safety in Kenya through leading by example and taking responsibility for our own riding and our safety. Personally I have been riding for 35 years ,, and have made mistakes in that time as one may expect , I believe now that without these mistakes I may not be where I am today as Ive been able to learn from them. Part of that learning has been through the millions of miles Ive covered as a professional rider but also taking a responsible attitude towards my own learning, embarking on my own further training in order to develop the skills and knowledge required to become an instructor in the UK. Having been a Road Racer - I love speed and can identify with the rider who want to experience the thrill and those who wish to hone their skills. I went on to train with California Superbike School and then work as an instructor providing coaching to track day riders and racers in the UK,
When i was much younger I spent 6 years working and a motorcycle courier for a leading London Company negotiating traffic in all climates and conditions before embarking on a Rider Training pathway which included the Met Police Rider Training as well as more recently learning through the IAM and RoSPA their Advanced Rider Programmes and how to deliver them as an Instructor . I continue to seek opportunities to keep my own skills and knowledge up to date and invest significantly in my own development in order to ensure the best training is available through ART in Kenya . My sincere thanks to those that have influenced my learning the most
