The APReCoM AGM took place today, 27th June 2019. A new group of executive committee members were elected.

Recently, and in partnership with the International School of Advertising ISA, APReCoM launched the first Fast Track Program class. Learning Objectives of the program are:
1. To develop the personal skills needed to integrate into the work-place and role they will play;
2. To give a top-line understanding of PR and communications;
3. Enable them have an informed view of the specialization/ department they can best fit into;
4. To cut- down their learning curve and make them useful to the organisation within a shorter time

This morning, together with the International School of Advertising (ISA) we are launching the APReCoM Fast Track Program which aims to on-board entry level individuals and those who are still new in their role by giving them sound personal and professional grounding in PR and Communications.

APReCoM, represented by Deputy Secretary Ooga Omanga, this morning attended the launch of the Public Relations Society of Kenya - PRSK Strategic Plan 2018 - 2022. The event was officiated by Ministry of ICT PS Fatuma Hirsi Mohamed.
The PRSK Strategic Plan aims to: Create a robust regulatory framework; Enhance membership and professional development; Be a credible source of info on PR & Communication; and Promote governance, operational capacity and institutional development.
APReCoM, being the agencies chapter of PRSK, wishes them all the best and looks forward to deeper collaboration.
