POSITION

Field Officer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The purpose of this job entails posting guards to various assignments and informing clients of any changes regarding guard’s allocation and reporting any unusual occurrence at the assignment to the Divisional Manager.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP

The Field Officer reports to the Divisional Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 Posting of guards in their assignments at the right time.
 Informing clients of any changes regarding guard allocation at the assignment.
 Handling clients and guards’ complaints courteously and promptly.
 Making follow-ups in supervisor’s roles every time while on duty.
 Instilling discipline in the guards and Supervisors.
 Ensuring that supervisors and guards report for and check out of duty at the right time.
 Ensuring that bookings and cancellation of contracts are done on time and temporary works orders are signed prior to providing a guard service.
 Investigating any suspicious occurrence in the area of responsibility.
 Assisting in debt collection when called upon.

QUALIFICATION/ATTRIBUTES

 Diploma in Business Administration from a National Polytechnic.

 Fluency in both spoken and written Kiswahili and English Languages.

 Ability and willingness to work at odd hours and under pressure.

 Should be at least 25 years but not more than 35 years old
 Must have served for at least 3 years in a reputable security firm in a similar capacity.
 Must have be a holder of a Riding License or Driving License with at least 3 years’ experience.
 Computer Literacy, an added advantage
