*Day of the African Child 2026*
Theme: _Ensuring universal access to water, sanitation, and hygiene for every child in Africa_

Clean water isnโ€™t a luxury โ€” itโ€™s dignity, health, and a future.
This June 16th, we stand with every African child who deserves safe drinking water, proper toilets, and hygiene education at home and in school.

At Real Hope Community Foundation, we believe strong communities protect children by meeting their basic needs first. When children are healthy, they learn better, grow stronger, and are safer from harm.

To the 164 children we serve: may you always have water to drink, soap to wash, and spaces that keep you safe.

In 2024, during a visit to our community beneficiaries, the NCN team asked a simple but deeply important question: โ€œWhere do these families sleep?โ€
The reality was heartbreaking โ€” nearly 70% of the families we serve did not own a bed. Many parents and children slept on cold floors night after night. From this need, the Beds of Hope Project was born. โค๏ธ
With the unwavering support of NCN, Real Hope Community Foundation launched a bed-making workshop in 2025 to restore dignity and comfort to vulnerable families living in the slums.
The project has not only provided safe and comfortable sleeping spaces, but it has also created opportunities within the community: ๐Ÿ›๏ธ 33 beds distributed to families in need
๐Ÿ”จ 3 community youth trained in woodworking skills
๐Ÿ‘ท A skilled carpenter engaged to mentor and build
๐Ÿ“ฆ A project manager supporting promotion and distribution
* When you purchase a bed a needy family benefits, you also support Rhcf programmes.
Every bed delivered represents dignity, hope, comfort, and love for a family that once slept on the floor.
We are deeply grateful to NCN for believing in this vision and standing with us to transform lives in practical and meaningful ways. Together, we are building more than beds โ€” we are building hope. ๐Ÿ’™
